Support for Anxiety and Panic Attacks

We were never meant to have to figure this life out alone. Reach out now to get the support you need.

Anxiety and panic attacks can feel overwhelming, unpredictable, and deeply distressing. You might experience a racing heart, tightness in your chest, shortness of breath, dizziness, or a sense that something is wrong, even when you can’t identify a clear cause. These experiences are very real, but they are not dangerous.

At their core, anxiety and panic are driven by a highly sensitive and overprotective nervous system. The brain is designed to detect threats and keep you safe, but sometimes it begins to misinterpret everyday stress, emotions, or even internal sensations as danger. When this happens, it can trigger the body’s fight-or-flight response, even when there is no actual threat present. Panic attacks, in particular, are often fueled by this cycle: the brain sends a false alarm, the body responds with intense physical sensations, and those sensations then reinforce the belief that something is wrong. Over time, this loop can create fear of the symptoms themselves, making anxiety feel even more limiting.

But your body is not working against you; it’s trying to protect you. These symptoms are signals, not signs of failure. When you learn how to understand and respond to them differently, the nervous system can begin to settle.

My approach focuses on helping you break this cycle by working with both the brain and the body. Together, we’ll:

  • Understand what’s happening in your nervous system

  • Reduce fear around physical sensations

  • Build a sense of safety within your body

  • Explore and process underlying emotional patterns that may be contributing to anxiety

Using evidence-based, mind-body approaches, the goal is not just to manage anxiety, but to change your relationship with it so it no longer controls your life.

Relief is possible.

Working With Me Will Be a Good Match If:

  • You’re open to the idea that the mind and body are deeply connected.

  • You are curious about the neuroscience of how symptoms can be caused by the brain.

  • You prefer to get to the root of what’s going on rather just manage surface-level symptoms.

  • You’re ready to explore the coping patterns that once protected you but may no longer serve you, and to approach those parts of yourself with compassion and care.

  • You want to strengthen your emotional bond with your partner and are willing to explore the deeper feelings and attachment needs that shape how you both connect.
